We stay every year, the same week, the same condo "room" on the ocean. The upper balcony is open, but the lower balcony is more private. I love listening to the ocean and that I don't have to walk across anything to see the ocean..just a few steps out the door. The people are great and we absolutely LOVE going each year.

We stay here every year and there is no better place. Right on the beach and clean rooms. Will never stay anywhere else.

I stayed here in April 2009 (motel room)and was pleasantly surprised! The rooms are nice, comfortable, and well appointed. Nice staff. Can be a bit noisy if other renters aren't considerate, as the balcony is shared (no dividers) by everyone on the floor. You are advised NOT walk barefoot on the beach, as there is still debris from one of the hurricanes. I would stay there again.

WE stayed here back in 2005. We stayed on the soundside and the room (more like a small apartment) was clean and perfectly acceptable for our purposes. I consider it a fine choice for those wanting to stay in the Buxton area.
