Made it today, and I must say it is dee-lish! I'm not much of a beef-eater, but I couldn't stop "tasting" it once it was all stirred together and broken down. Ray gave it 4 out of 5 stars, and asked that I never make roast beef the old way again. I used half the ranch packet, half the au jus AND unsalted butter and it was still so good. Thanks, OP; will definitely use the crock pot method for lots more meals!
