An uneventful drive home. Traffic thru VA Beach on 64 was bad. Glad my hubby drives that part. The CBBT was empty for some reason. Makes going thru the tunnels a bit easier. The rest of the drive home was a breeze. We stopped in Cape Charles and grabbed fabulous sandwiches at the Mason Street Bakery. Highly recommend if you are in that area. Time to start planning our next trip.

Walked over to ramp 49 from main parking area near the campground since I was driving and didn't want to navigate the beach all alone. Much more carvage than the hurricane swells from 10 days ago. A lot of people out fishing...

Made a "nest" behind some sea grasses at a dune base and am absolutely lovin' this!!!!! Doesn't take much to make me happy!
