Anyone Receive Snow?

Colington received rain. My wife said it started out as sleet. Or questionable thermometer showed 34 degrees at 7:00 AM. Blue sky’s are ahead

Gotta come north a bit, about 350 miles. We got 1-1/2". Looks beautiful outside right now covering the trees.

Gotta come north a bit, about 350 miles. We got 1-1/2". Looks beautiful outside right now covering the trees. Greg MD We moved here from Ellicott City MD so I remember commuting to work on unplowed roads for 30 years. Now I would like to kick back while it snows from the safety of my recliner.

NCSU Dad Ellicott City is a very nice old town. I've been up since before dawn enjoying my view through a steaming cup of coffee. Its time to roll out the snowblower before this turns to a sheet of ice.

Ohio near Youngstown may be two additional inches overnight on top of last weeks snow fall. I’m feeding the birds they are going crazy hungry…..what animals I get at the feeder that are bigger murder of crows, murder means a group actually. Red tailed hawks (only one now when they were a family 3 they are territorial), does and 1 buck, opossums. Squirrels, rabbits and a shapeshifter black fur werewolf which I can’t find anymore. Huge….heard could be a coywolf or dog/wolf crossbreed. I heard years ago there was a man that would breed dogs with wolves. I would be a millionaire if I had a photo. Looked like in the. Movies Werewolf of London on 4 legs.

About 3" in Bristol, TN. It started yesterday morning. When I got up this morning it had stopped but I just looked out the window and it is lightly snowing again. Not a fan. I yearn for spring and summer and being on the Outer Banks! According to my countdown on this site I've got 111 days.

Non-event in Salisbury, NC. The 2nd round of precip last night was mostly ice. They put enough brine on the roads for 10x more.

Vah Beach got an inch or less according to a video my son sent from just south of the oceanfront. Disappointing for snow fans after all the ‘Stormwatch!!!’ hype on the tv. Chilly rain in the Tri Villages, naturally.

I went out yesterday morning to run errands and by the time I returned home our car looked like it had been in Alaska it had so much salt on it. NCSU Dad Likewise. I guess I gotta wash the truck now.

Lots of snow and ice in the mountains of north Georgia. We’re expecting 12 degree temperatures tonight. Crazy weather.

The week started out with 13 Inches of snow in Lewes. We got less than an Inch yesterday. None of the snow has really melted because we have only been above freezing for a few hours in the past week. Today it is going to be about 37 so a lot of the side roads which have not been plowed will get a chance to melt.

Got just under 6 inches in Luray VA Alexy Jusr flurries here, maybe a 1/2" of powder. Tomorrow should bring a heatwave around 40F then 4" of snow Sunday night. I ordered myself a new pair of Carhartt insulated gloves, it's gonna be frostbite cold next week when highs drop into the teens.

Everyone likes something different, Pickle. For me and my wife, we love the snow and the cold probably more than the sand and the heat. Dress appropriately and it's comfortable unless the wind is blowing. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Looks like somebody spilled a big mess of grits on an otherwise beautiful landscape. Kitty Hawk is forecast to get 1 to 3 inches this coming Wednesday with a high temperature of 29. Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina, Puerto Rico in the morning.

I'd like to see some snow. It's been so cold on the beach for two weeks I wish it would just snow and make this cold worthwhile. If it had been a few degrees colder last weekend we would have had a foot of snow I bet. The rain overnight was intense.

My part of Maryland is expecting an all-day event Sunday with 6-10" of snow. Yippee! (I guess...) I'd say the plumbers in OBX are going to be plenty busy next week fixing frozen pipes.

I don't know what part of MD you're in Squid but our neck of the woods is getting a downgraded snowfall on Sunday and an upgraded cold spell for Monday thru Wednesday.

Greg MD Sounds divine, but I have a respect for horses that means I don't get near one lol. I've been on a horse once or twice as a kid and that's it. Our neighbor across the road was a Richmond mounted officer and kept his horse at his home and put me on it. That was enough. I just toss on a few extra layers and get out there. If you keep moving it's not too bad.
