I wonder what that weather will do to the 5000 mile long sargassum in the Atlantic?
A bit of sargassum on NE Florida yesterday with a strong easterly fetch
A bit of sargassum on NE Florida yesterday with a strong easterly fetchAbout 10 years ago the beach in SNH had so much sargassum on it you couldn't walk with your feet touching sand unless you were at the dune. The kicker was the grass was chock full of... red onions! Thousands of them. I guess a ship lost some of its load out there. At least they were biodegradable instead of the styrofoam from the containers with copiers IIRC that were lost some years back.
Weather looks great for South Jersey but I’d still rather be on the Banks.
that's interesting. i have to look up what else was found in sargassum that doesn't belong..
