I haven't seen one of these for a while and the "Your Vacation:" countdown was begging me to start one. We will be in Hatteras Village the last full week of May. We're staying in a house we stayed at in 2018. New owners (they bought it a month before our 2018 vacation) and they've make some nice upgrades. Looking forward to the vacation. 117 days! We’re at 153 days! Staying in Salvo the 1st week in July…the house is new construction so taking a bit of a risk with only pictures of completed outside so far, but kind of excited for the surprise!

Just this morning I booked a week the end of April at the Cavalier Motel in KDH. They actually had an oceanfront kitchenette available. Yay us and yay them. Such nice folks. I don't care if it's cold, rainy and windy because you can see the breakers from the bed, the kitchen table and the two porch chairs. And there's always 4WD if we want a different view. I knew I wouldn't be able to wait until the first two weeks of June when we go to Ocracoke.

104 until Rodanthe, 249 until Carova (but who's counting). Hope to squeeze another trip in between.

Just booked and started my count down ticker. 113 days to my favorite Ocracoke lighthouse view at the Castle B&B on Silver Lake. Kids booked two week RV dune side spot in July for us at OI Campground. October RV trip in Rodanthe. Life is good

We’ve got 2 countdowns going! One for March and the other for October! And we always celebrate our anniversary there in May, but I haven’t booked it yet. (I better get on that). Then we’ll have 3 countdowns at once! I’m thankful we can come down often but I sure miss the days when I could, on the spur of the moment, jump in the car and head south . AND I could do it on non-turn days.

191 days August 13-20 just a week last year did two weeks in July my daughter was married at the pier in Nags Head first time for July looking forward to my week.

Dang it, I missed 99. At 98 now! So looking forward to it. I start a new job in 2 weeks and it's NOT a 24/7 business where I'm always on call! Going to be hard to break the check work habit, but I'm ready to try.

213 days. We didn’t make it down last year so really excited. We used to come down twice a year, but have just been going elsewhere. When we do come now it’s only once instead of spring and fall. Would really like to start going back more often. Have 5 nights booked at the comfort inn in kill devil hills. We may stay a couple more nights but will make that decision while we are there. Going to keep my eyes out for what the best western becomes because we really liked the rooms there. May still look at booking a house in rodanthe. That’s our favorite spot. Just three of us this trip so maybe a little much and Wednesday to Wednesday fits my work schedule better than weekend to weekend.

42 until a week on the sound in Frisco. 57 until ocean front in Hatteras. 81 until Durant Station. First time ever going three times. No ocean swimming for the first one but hopefully lots of it for the other two. Lots of driving (800 miles each way).

116 days until we return to South Nags Head. Staying in a different house managed by a new (to us) company (Joe Lamb). Outrageous price increases forced us to look elsewhere. Excited for a new adventure. That also means 115 days until my oldest finishes middle school and the youngest finishes elementary. Not ready for that change!

104 days til soundside in Nags Head. Only have 1 trip planned this year for OBX. Going to check out the mountains in the fall this year.
