Where's the NPS permit that allows a beach access on NPS land to be 1 ft more narrow?Upon review of the OP - it sounds like a washout removed the access (it happens)...someone took it upon them selves to fix that best they could (anyone know the scale of the current NPS backlog? hint: it's significant); possibly with their own personal labor/$ outlay.So, as I see it, it's a glass half full/half empty conundrum - visitors/guests now have a new walkway that is wider (maybe not ADA compliant) than the previously non existent access. Will it fit a fishing cart, maybe not, but it's a far cry from no access.
