Looking forward to our annual thanksgiving dinner at the Red Sky Cafe in Duck, awesome buffet. I always have to resist wearing a toga because it feels like a freak'in Roman orgy with all that bounty. However, this is a time to give thanks and I certainly am thankful for what the lord has given me and my family. I worry that we are on the verge of some very hard times. So I think we all need to think about how to reach out to those in need of help in the coming days, be it a helping hand to fix what's broke or a box of food or a kind word and some understanding. It's the only way to get through it. I WAS a little surprised to find that I had no problem booking whatever time I wanted this year. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well! The buffet looks fantastic....especially the oysters! Have a great time driving into that delicious looking spread with your family.

Gotta start decorating the beach cottage for Christmas! Yep...that's early to decorate, but it makes me happy.

WOW!!! Sign me up for next year! I’ll start working on my hubby Friday morning. I think this video will help. I’ve been threatening to do Thanksgiving at a restaurant for a couple of years now. You should hear the weeping and wailing!! We’ve done TG at the banks a few times and I just loved it. Them were the good ol’ days. Happy Thanksgiving, BF, and God bless You too, Bentmtn

Went out to Lowes today and this place is the busiest Ive EVER seen it for Thanksgiving. Looks like the OBX is becoming a big thanksgiving tradition! The lady at the bakery at Publix told me they had over 200 custom orders today alone at one store. The weather was absolutely spectacular today too.
