On Sundays I turn off 158 onto S. Dogwood Trail then left on Pintail. I don't see where S. Dogwood is included in the barricades. Am I reading this correct?

Does anyone know how long this lasts? We come down 9/10 and love going through those residential streets to Duck, only because we enjoy looking at the golf course and the homes. Thanks!
As I sat on RT 12 for nearly two hours last Saturday trying to get to my timeshare in Duck I got to witness firsthand the barricades in Southern Shores! They don't work! Even with the barricades and signs saying local traffic only I saw numerous cars go right down Ocean Pearl to come out further down on 12. I'm sure the police cannot ticket the offenders but it would have made me smile if they were there to turn their sorry butts around to get back in the line of traffic where they first ignored the barricades. I know everyone says it's the pedestrians in Duck. I personally think it's the lights and cars turning onto 12 trying to squeeze five cars into a 3- car space and back up traffic in both directions.
