I officially joined Weight Watchers Tuesday night I went to my first meeting I really enjoyed it. They are going to be closed the next 2 Tuesdays r/t holidays so if the roads aren't to slick in morning I going to go weigh in. I have excercised everyday and tracked everything I eat. I think it was the motivation I needed and I'm hoping knowing I have to go weigh in may help keep me on track. Thumbs up

I thought you had already been doing WW or were you just counting points and not doing meetings? WW will tell you that 50% of the participants will have greater success if you attend the meetings vs doing it on your own or online. I enjoy my weekly meeting and the leader is funny and down to earth. My location has a leader that only had to lose 10lbs to get to her goal and has kept it off for 15years. I can't relate to her. My meeting's leader has done WW 4 different times and has struggled with weight loss all of her adult life. Now there's someone I can relate to.

65lbs gone, 50lbs of that was with WW.

You only have to track on the weeks you want to lose Thumbs up

I bought the books and the points plus calculator off ebay back in October and had been doing it own my own and was losing good then I started eating more than I should gaining. Since Thanksgiving I was have a hard time getting on track so I figured I would join and go to the meetings for help and support. I like using the online etools.

I love etools for my phone. They just updated it the Android devices yesterday, so much less "buggy" than previously. Snap and Track will come in handy when on vacation.

I saw that on mobile app but haven't tried it yet. Do you just snap a pic of what you eat and get the points?

By my scales I'm down 5.1 pounds since the meeting on Tuesday but today and tomorrow will be a challenge. I'm determine to track everything I eat. In addition to my 26 daily points allowance I'm allowed 49 additional weekly points. I'm going to try to eat between 26-30 points the next couple of days. I'm cooking turkey, dressing, gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, corn, mac & cheese, rolls and a dessert. I'm going to measure out all my portions. I'm not going to gain the 5 pounds I lost back in 2 days like I have been know to do before Laughing smiley

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!!

It's so you have a picture of what you ate and can go back and track the points. It's not sophisticated enough to recognize food to calculate portions.

Good luck on the next two days. I made lunch for my friends today that way I could control the points. I made a point to wake up and dance with the Wii to get in my AP and will do the same tomorrow morning.

That app will come in handy. You will love the Wii even when you play something besides Wii Fit you will feel it. We play bowling my arm is sore the next day. Hope you have a Merry Christmas.

Run across this old pic today taken at the Bonner. I want to get down to the size I was in this pic. Think I will print it out and hang in on my fridge. I laugh every time I see it.

I'm going to weigh in tomorrow morning hoping I at least dropped a pound this week. I've been walking/running on the treadmill everyday.

If you see me not posting about my diet I'm probably not sticking to it Laughing smiley Losing and gaining the same couple pounds over and over. Haven't walked on the treadmill in about a week so I'm walking tonight. Going to do better. Would love if anyone is doing WW also to share some of their food finds and meal ideas.

Tonight is cold out and I wanted a bowl of cinnamon roll oatmeal (4pp) and a piece of toast (1 pp) and decaf coffee for dinner.

I did WW last year, lost 35 pounds! Only diet that has ever worked for me. It was a challenge to me to add fruits and veggies to my diet but it's become a way of life for my whole family now. Stick with it, it really, really works! I was a very sedentary person before WW; I'm now training for my first half-marathon. I can't say enough positive things about WW!

Weighed in at 157.4 this morning. Started at 170 pounds. I had to lower my points to get the scales moving and I started using the HCG Platinum Drops from GNC. They are hormone free and have really helped with my appetite.

I bought Hungry Girl To The Max Cook Book and I love it. I ordered 300 under 300 one also. I can't wait for it to get here.

Lunch today was Lunch- pizza using a flatout light wrap (90cal/2 WWPP), 1/4 cup light ragu spaghetti sauce (30 cal- 1WWPP), 6 slices of turkey pepperoni (40 cal-1WWPP) and 2 tbsp of shredded mozarella cheese (30 cal-1WWPP), crushed red pepper and italian seasoning. and had a diet A&W rootbeer (0cal-0WWPP) Total 190 calories 5WWPP Had an Orange with cinnamon sprinkled on it (0WWPP)

Made these last night and even the non-dieters of the family loved them. From Hungry Girl

Yum Yum Brownie Muffins

(1 Muffin, or 3 minis - 181 calories, 3.5g fat, 37g carbs, 2g fiber, 2g protein PointsPlus® value 5*)

This super-simple 2-ingredient recipe is a Weight Watchers Fave!

1 box devil's food cake mix
1 can solid pack pumpkin (15 oz.)

Directions:
Mix the two ingredients together. Don't add anything else that may be mentioned on the box, such as eggs, oil, or water. The mixture will be very thick and you will be tempted to add in other things to make the batter smoother. DO NOT DO THIS AS IT WILL RUIN EVERYTHING! Place batter into muffin tins (or mini muffin tins) lined with paper, or sprayed with non-stick spray. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 12 regular or 36 mini muffins.

Weighed in at 157.0 this morning. Total weight loss 13 pounds.Really want to lose about 5-7 more pounds and if I stick to it I eventually will. I dropped the majority of my weight really fast and the last few pounds are always the hardest it seems but I'm not giving up. I really want to get me some new shorts for wear at the beach. I am so self conscious I usually only wear the mens cargo shorts that come to my knees. I love my favorite old camo fishing shorts but I would like to wear some cute ladies camo shorts with a baby doll tshirt and flip flops and feel comfortable.

Sounds like you are doing great Robin. I am down 11 pounds since January 1.. Joined a biggest loser competition at Jazzercise that runs until March 31 to keep me motivated.

I have been using MFP to track my calories (in & out) and just been more active and making smarter food choices. I also gave up drinking diet soda (all soda actually!) for new year's and haven't had a sip once since then! I am on week 7 of couch to 5K running program. I am proud to say I have stuck with all of those things I started with the new year.

94 days until my trip and I just keep thinking about how much better shape I will be in this year as compared to last year. Weight isn't anything drastically different, but I am so much healthier!
