I did it! TEN pounds in 13 days?!?!

I guess I will go for 15 pounds for October.

If you are wondering, there were 2 big factors contributed to so much lost weight, other than diet and exercise...1. I was able to actually diet and exercise through the weekend, which has always been tough for me. And 2. the most important thing, to me, was to haha get a grill pan! I have been using a George Foreman grill for years, which made chicken tasteless, so I would rarely eat it, except when bringing it to work for lunch. Now, I am grilling chicken on the grill pan, with a little extra virgin olive oil on the chicken with salt and pepper - it comes out so amazingly good! You might be saying "big deal" to yourself, but to a complete non-cook like myself, this has been a revelation!

I like to grill up chicken, chop it up and throw it in a wheat wrap with chopped tomatoes, red onions and jalopenos - yummay!!

Anyway...just some "food" for thought bahhaaha...

Great job!! Keep up the good work! My goal is to make it to an exercise class every day of the week except Sunday, beginning today. Easily attainable, just a matter of making my workout a priority.

This week has been extremely annoying as I cant seem to break the 220 mark.

Thinking about not weighing in everyday so I dont get so frustrated...

Take a break from your scale and keep doing everything else.. Sometimes I get so mad at my scale, but everything is cumulative, so just keep doing the right thing and it will happen. You lost a lot rather quickly in the beginning of the month and sometimes your body just need to "reorganize". Hang in there!!

I usually ride my stationary bike every morning, but I Monday I couldnt because I woke up late - and what do you know, the weight started falling off again. So I've stopped riding in the morning. We'll see what happens, but so far, its working! Not sure why tho...

Down 8 pounds since the beginning of October! I have to admit, when I saw that your goal was 10 pounds in a month I was like "that would never happen for me!" and yet I made it almost to ten pounds. So proud of myself.
I have developed a daily fitness habit along the way since I have only missed class when class was cancelled a few times. Never really set a goal and followed through with it before.
Logging my food and seeing my calories and where I eat the most of them, seems to be working well for me. I find myself making healthier choices more often because I like to see them reflected in my food log.
