Morning Robert. Most excellent picture there. I think the pictures you have posted this week are probably the most effective advertising that rental house could ever hope for. What an awesome house and setting. Enjoy!

It was about 48 when I took the photo.....going up to 68 today, then high 70s tomorrow. Water temp still in low 70s, no problem for a Jersey guy like me. 70s is like a bath!!!! Seems this cold thing is just about everywhere east of the Mississippi.

Hi Steve,

It truly is, but doesn't need any advertising because I think its booked for the entire '04 season already.

What a great shot! Chilly 46 this morning on Long Island. Love that brisk walk on the beach in the morning though. (need it after that breakfast you posted!) Have a great remainder of your trip....

Hi AlbemarleGirl,

I assume you are referring to the fish? If so I have no idea since I am not a fishing person. Probably Cos or Kimco or Roundhouse know.

....when is the season open or when are they actually here? The season for stripers on the ocean side is year round, 28" or greater, 2 per day. Haven't heard of anybody doing much though. Probably be another 2-3 weeks before they start to show up in appreciable numbers. Me?.....I can't wait...I'm all aquiver with anticipation of a bloodbath of hurling metal and thrashing fish. The sound side season starts soon...'bout Oct. 11 I think. Check the NCDMF website.
