Hey great job keeping everyone informed. The shot of Avalon pier is awesome. I was wondering if there is anyway to zoom in on it, I would like to get a better look at the Tan-a-rama and the cottage next to it. I know some places let you but I could not figure it out on here. Thanks

I've got the same question another person posted about zooming in. I've stayed in Viking Court, which is the street of homes just south of the Outer Banks Pier. It looks like they made it through the storm OK. But I was wondering if I could get a closer look at the street, especially the 2 houses closest to the beach.

We stayed at one of the Viking Court houses too! We stayed in the one that sits two lots from the ocean near the road. I remember our boys had passes for the OB pier that week. This was 3 years ago in July 2000. During that week we saw a huge waterspout coming toward us when we were at Whalebone Seafood buying some shrimp. Once the waterspout hit the land it went up in the air with a funnel cloud and then out over the ocean to form a waterspout again.

I saw one the same year forth of july week I've got a picture of it some where!!! We stay just north of outer banks pier!!!
