More great shots Kim. So sad to see Jennette's Pier gone.....a little bit of history may be gone forever. Think they will rebuild? And jst curious, how deep are those pilings into the ocean bottom?

Since I haven't really heard anything about Avalon Pier I thinking maybe it's OK? Any word? Also Awful Arthurs? Thanks for everything.

I didn't even think to go by that area on the beach road. I have heard the pier is okay, and there's just not much damage across the beach road anywhere that I've seen (except Kitty Hawk) so I'm sure AA's is fine. I might have to make a business run up to the Mariner today. I'll see if I can remember to look.

On the Avalon web site the pier reporter posted a picture of the pier and thats where I've been getting alot of info. Look at the fish talk it's a chat room also www.avalonpier.com

Other than losing their sign, they survived okay from what I'm hearing.
