Stewart reports that in Hatteras village proper, Durrant Station, the Cabanas,The Sea Gull Motel, The Pelican Convenience Store are all GONE!. The road has washed out in 4 places between Avon and Buxton as is normal, the road has washed out between Rocco's pizza and the first Turn about coming out of Hatteras, which is normal,Red Drum shopping Center in Buzton is under 4' of water.

I just talked to Sparky (Mo) & Red Drum Tackle only got 3-4" (not feet) in it. Made out pretty good considering.

From Mo (FishMojo) who was staying with Windy Eakes during the storm in Brigand's Bay & there was very little backside sound surge/flooding with the storm. However the backside of Avon is facing N & S not NE to SW like Brigands Bay.

Hopefully not to bad Avon.
