The Nixon-Cappellua Cottage, built in 1925 and moved from Beach road in '97 to Soundside Road, Nags Head, across from Jockey's ridge. Renovated in '98.
I have noticed when I look at so many of the old cottages that many of them have a room that juts out on the NW corner of the cottage. Is there a reason for this?
Maybe to provide a sheltered area from a n'oreaster? I dunno for sure Diane.
