$850,000! Are you kidding! Holy moly that's a lot of cash for a little piece of land. The "Location, location, location" saying must be true. A freind of mine owns a house in Duck on top of a little hill. It is a really cute little place that has views of the sound and the ocean. I had no idea it was worth so much. I'm not sure if he does either. He's been there since the early 80's, and it sounds like property values have appreciated quite alot recently.
