Jeez, I am glad for our guests, but dang, that's woefully little time to turn, say, an oceanfront cottage that has been sanded up. How many folks are gonna go apeschit when they find their pool is filled w sand....
Only the ones that rented oceanfront pool homes. That can be dealt with on a micro level by each owner or property manager. I’m guessing 98% of the rentals saw no significant damage. Everyone involved needs the prime time revenue right now.
Yes, 100% correct, but in RWS we have sooo many in peril (but still rentable - like Mirlo) OF spots (heck, we're all gonna be OF eventually) and if you watched poor Buxton the wash went a few rows in.
Many friends work in support of the rental space, and several of those in pool cleaning....one challenge is that we are seeing so many first HI or OBX timers and the whole "your pool is an aquarium and/or your pool pump is toast...and/or the driveway is full of sand" is kinda new to them...
I'm pretty sure that everyone on this board would "get it" and understand but, those that are first timers, previously, Duck/Northern Beaches/NJ/ NE because they want a change from the traffic/pomp and circumstance often aren't sometimes so understanding.
EDIT: was just sent this from a couple we know up Rt 12 a bit.....love it!
