Since our house is built in a flood zone I was searching for a map that would show us a dry spot options to move our cars to in case Colington floods again. We had flood waters come into our lower level twice during storms. About 18" each time.

This is gonna be an ocean event. No problems at all with soundside flooding north of Cape Hatteras.

Hey, EZ, what about the winds on the sound affecting a boat on a lift? I read the wind speeds for Wed/Thurs and top wind I see is 42. Don't recall what the rating is on it .

I don’t know, Bent. I’ve never had a boat lift. There is bound to be someone down there who would move it, but I have no idea how much it would cost.

Thanks,.EZ. I'm sure our neighbor will have some answers as they have a lift next door. Appreciate it.

FYI: checked the Hull Truth and many answers show wind speeds below 60-70 seem okay on a lift for anyone besides me worrying about this.
