Does anyone know what is going on with Dune Burger. My family started a tradition years ago of getting burgers from Dune Burger every year. Then the last few years it seemed like it was closed, perhaps permanently. Then we would see it open on like Saturday while we were leaving. I tried looking it up on the internet, but I get several different answers. Trip Adviser says it is open only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The facebook page was last updated in 2009.

I hope they are indeed still open! In the late 80's and early 90's, we stayed in So Nags Head frequently and always headed there at least once a week. Such a cute place. I would really like to visit it again. Very vintage.

Seen cars and people there all week. It’s open

My first summer here was 1981, towing advertising banners behind planes. Our boss put us up in Skyco in old trailers.

We would drive across the causeway to Dune Burger all the time. Back then it was cheap burgers and fries.

Right next door was a used tire shop! My cheap boss would send me there with his junk cars and tell me: Get me 2 tires and make sure they're the good ones! (Good used tires?) He is now in his early 80's and still buys used tires!
