Been quiet for sure.

On the local Norfolk news tonight I saw they did a segment for the new Kill Devil Grill in Nags Head. I am not a fan of the name - I think it is SKDG or like that meaning south of kill devil grill. I'll have to try it and hope the food is as good as the KDG place.

Big wreck on the Va Dare Bridge today I heard and another accident half a mile after coming over the WBM bridge in Kitty. No shortage of bad drivers!

Yes I saw the report on the accident on the Va Dare bridge. So very sad.
Is there no shoulder on that bridge? I can’t remember.

It's officially called South of KDG. It's located in the Nags Head mall just a couple doors north of Grits Grill (closer to hospital). This is the spot Woo Casa was in until this past fall.

Well, I guess I can justify the 25 round mags for 7.62 NATO...

Back when it was warmer I would sit on the deck at dark and I would often see what looked like drone lights flashing to the west of me in Kitty Hawk. I am a pilot and I have had several drones so I understand what planes and drones look like at night. The light I would see must have been out over the sound and always going south to north, not fast or as fast as a plane but for a longer period of time than hobby drones fly for. TV reports say they watch them for hours. I have no idea if the lights I saw were drones, but my guess is it was. What was it doing after dark with all those light flashing. I think I saw the lights about the same time at nigh maybe 8 times this summer.

Perhaps, I didn't really pay much attention to them since this new drone craze had not started. I see hobby drone here all the time, but not ones that can stay up for 30 min and still never turned to return home. I can't tell how far west they were.
