I just heard KH fire say they are finished in Currituck. I think there was a house fire over there slowing traffic. This is the traffic leaving the OBX.

I remember the first time we waited until checkout time…they wanted to go back to the Elizabeth II park. I was nervous with oh the traffic will be so much worse back to PA. Well it wasn’t worse and we even avoided a tornado in VA that year by leaving later. Now no one is in a hurry in our family.

I thought traffic was much lighter than usual for in-season this week. The PITA in my travel area is southbound bypass backup created by the traffic lights at Colington Rd.

I normally leave Manteo between 5:15 - 5:30 and stop at Biscuits N Porn for an egg and cheese biscuit for the road. I always beat the traffic and get back to Baltimore by 12:00.
