Saw a bunch of surfers today that knew their stuff! We didn't drive to the very end as there was a lot of water and hubby thought it could be sea water. (Don't want to drive the Tundra through sea water!! God forbid!) You never know. Made it a couple of miles and pulled off before the very end. A lot of nice people and saw some VA people which we loved, of course. Two really cute guys about my son's age setting up to fish around 4:30 pm. The inlet is soooo wide! I found no sea glass, but scored on a beautiful piece of driftwood, some olive shells, and some angel wings as I call them which will work with my beach art. I also found a huge rock shaped like a heart which is the bomb! I'll use the driftwood which was kinda scooped out and will use it for a succulent planter! It was gorgeous.
Edit: I walked five miles today! Def burned off the two Coronas I drank on the beach between walks!
