The local crab legs are the best when you can get them.

I got your Crabs is legit. I have ordered steamed bushels of blues to go, and eaten in the restaurant and everything I have had was spot on. I also appreciate the family side of the business.

Nice looking oysters, Tim. It's a month with a "R" in it so they're extra large and tasty!

I have been lucky to get huge Pemaquids here locally. They look to be about the same size as yours Tim. I have to pop the hinge with a screwdriver because they are so strong.

I got some super nice ones this year from the Rappahannock and Piankatank. There is a movement underway to promote oyster farming in the Chesapeake region. Looks like it is working. They seem to be saltier than past years.

Yes to Piankatank River oysters! Years ago I was a state police SCUBA diver, and we always scheduled our winter months training dives at the Rt. 3 bridge due to the oysters from a upstream farm attaching themselves to the
bridge pylons. As I ascended, a Marine Resources Police boat approached. Knowing volumes about motor vehicle code, but nothing about shellfish rules and regs, I kept my "goodie bag" submerged as I talked to the officers. After about 30 minutes, one officer asked me about what I had in the bag, I told him "Oysters, but I don't know the legal size." He looked at them and said, "The small ones make the best stews anyway." Embaressed smiley

Good story, I assume you were a diver with the Virginia State Police? Thanks for your service. My father was with the VSP for 38 years. I have always held the VSP in very high regard.

And oh yeah, I Got Your Crabs has awesome seafood, service and atmosphere!

Thank you W&M. I probably know your father if he served between 1975 - 2009.

You can eat in and they clean everything in there all the time even before this virus. I am not sure what the price was but not cheap.
