Lost blankie in Corolla

Hello,
I know this is a long shot, but I am pretty desperate. My daughter lost her blankie that she has had for 8 years when we rented a house with Twiddy in whalehead, Corolla March 2019. I'm pretty sure we left it in the house, maybe mixed up with sheets. I contacted Twiddy lost and found and they haven't found anything. Anyway, I just thought I would put it out there as she is so lost and devastated without it. It is a pink and green striped blankie from Carters.
Thanks for your help!!

Have you asked Twiddy to send someone over to the house to look through the closets and in dresser drawers?

No. But we actually stopped by the house in September, we were renting another house down the street. We knocked on the door and asked if they would take a look for us. They so nicely did, and didnt find anything. I am wondering if it went to the laundry service??

Oh my, I know how difficult this can be. Our daughter left her fav stuffed animal at the Duke of Dare, our pit stop before heading to rental, really back in the day, The cleaning crew had found "Tina" and she was waiting at the front desk for our friends who were driving to meet us the next day. Happy ending, Tina still lives on. Best of luck, tell your daughter to send one up to St. Anthony, founder of all lost things!

Order one like it and tell her the saltwater and ocean breeze made it change colors.

I feel your pain. When my youngest son was 4, we stopped at a rest area in Virginia to eat and let the kids run and stretch. After getting back on the road and about 60 miles away, my son realized he left his stuffed cow behind. I turned around, and surprisingly enough Baby Cow was under the picnic table. My ex husband was FURIOUS that I added 2 hrs to our already longgg drive, and after that close call we never let the kids bring their "precious" things on our trips.

I hope if finds its way back to you.

I'm so happy you both found the stuffed animals that went missing.. Phew. So, I ordered one that looked exactly alike, but it was chenille instead of fleece. My daughter noticed the difference right away. I tried lying and saying it looked this way from the cleaning people washing it, she still doesnt buy it. She also had a small hole in it which disappeared. This is a tough one to sell.

I understand your daughter's comments. smiley

I had an old, red, Scottish plaid, woolen blanket forever. It was in the hatch of my car for years. Took it out and sat on it at a preseason football game in the late 1980s. Forgot to put it back in the hatch, and it was gone after the game. Did it bother me?

Well, I am posting about it 30 years later. Theeth smiley

I think I have one of those blankets. I used it at football games all through high school, and it is on the back of a chair in my family room. It is red and black with narrow stripes of yellow in it. It was my papa's, and I will never give it up.
