Hatteras restaurant?

Looking for suggestions - we are here in Hatteras Village after a two year break, and looking for a restaurant for dinner. Just wondering what you all recommend?

Hatteras Sol.

If you're like me and you have to have a water view, I recommend Dinky's http://villagemarinahatteras.com/DinkysGenInfo.html and the Breakwater http://breakwaterhatteras.com Have had very good dinners at both places. (Never been to Hatteras Sol, but it gets great reviews.)

SandBar Grille in Buxton has good Crab Stackers on special on Fridays, and two other days which I can't remember is a Prime Rib special which looks like a Fred Flintstone steak. Hatteras Sol is good as well as Dinky's.

Both are lovely restaurants but I like the food at Dinky's slightly more than Sol. Can't go wrong either way though.

I haven't tried Breakwater although I will have to give it a try one of these days.

Hatteras Sol is always my first choice and Dinky's would be second.

Both Sol And Dinky’s are good eats. Breakwater is awesome in the eve to sit out back and watch the boats come in. They have a great menu and you can make a meal off the appetizers.
On another note we went to Sandbar last night as a “going away dinner” for some house guests and was very disappointed with the food.

Hoping it was just a one time thing.

Highly recommended Dinkys in Hatteras. Very tasty food and good size portions.

You probably have no need for suggestions at thi point but I wanted to throw in that Dinky's is our go-to spot for a Outer Banks date night

If you are interested in a sunset, the Breakwater has enclosed and open but covered seating over the docks and usually a acoustic player in the evenings. you can make a easy meal off just their appetizer menu

We were there over Memorial Day - ate at Hatteras Sol and at Dinky's. Both were great!

Agree with all of the above, but just want to mention Sonny's for a cheaper, quicker, and still great bite to eat. Not on the water, but food is tasty! Also great breakfast!
